Conversations with my Friend

Created by Sandra one year ago

Abiodun, It's a privilege to have known you on this  side of eternity. Remembering our spiritual  upbringing  puts a smile on my face.

What about our many exploits in the cities of Abeokuta, Bilbao, Vitoria, Madrid, Edinburgh and Lagos. Your love for God and humanity was so real, contagious and evident. Hey! I also remember how you came over to Glasgow at 1:30am about  three months ago just to help me sort out an IT issue and check on us. Shebi you still remember how I scolded you for going those miles at that time of the night for me....you're just one special person. And guess what? I also remember all our discussions about putting family first and not also forgetting to lend a helping hand when occasion demands.

But I was wondering if you had a hint a few days to your transition to glory. Well, it doesn't really matter now. Thinking back, maybe you didn't but I sensed so much joy in your hospital room that day. I have got history with you. I know you're in good hands. I miss you...oh my, I really do.

Your wife, children also miss you. Your dad, siblings, cousins, THE REAL MEN, family members, friends miss you also. I am glad  that God will watch over Sandra and the children and will also comfort us all.
My dear committed, loyal and ever ready to help (sometimes stubborn) friend, thoughts of you in my heart are just stories of God's faithfulness.

....and now you've got your crown and reward.
